My Daddy once said to me, "Us Gillis men are proud, strong, and brave men. We fight for our country. And our Dads pass down what they learn in each war to all their sons. It all started with Great Great Great Grandpa Gillis, and then Great Great Grandpa Gillis, and after that just Great Grandpa Gillis, and then my grandpa Gillis, and then my daddy Gillis. They all were good men. They all left with honor and they didn't know if they were going to come back or not.. But they all did. And now that it's your turn Willie Gillis, my son, you're going to go and fight for this country just like all your Great Granddaddys did. Be proud, son.
